Deborah Freeman Plyler, 62, of Lancaster, passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Shannon Freeman and Ruth Wright Freeman. She had attended Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church and loved children.
Surviving are 2 children, Felicia Plyler and Devon (Kenzie Evans) Patterson all of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, Bailey Patterson, Dallas Patterson and Hunter Patterson; a brother, Rickey Freeman and his wife, Maggie of Jefferson and a sister, Kathy Hyatt of Lancaster; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; her companion, Gerald Gunn and honorary sisters; Joyce (Charles) Watkins of Kershaw and Sue Wright of Heath Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Freeman.
The family will hold a memorial service in the sanctuary of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 1616 McBee Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067, Friday, September 25, 2020, at 2:00 o’clock p.m. Rev. Charles Watkins will officiate.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ms. Plyler may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
