Dawn S. Lumpkin

Dawn Laverne Showers Lumpkin, age 88 of Kershaw, S.C. and formerly of Ozark, AL, passed away, Friday, September 1, 2023, at her daughter’s home. Born in Lititz, PA, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Showers and Lizzy Kohl Showers. She was a floral designer. Mrs. Lumpkin loved to color, scrapbook, and make all types of crafts. She was a member of United Brethren All for Christ.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Debbie Rich, Dianne Ringler (Michael Channey), Donna Mitchell (Clay); a son, Danny Lumpkin (Alicia); 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Donald Showers, Dale Showers (Patt), Johnny Showers, Bobby Showers and 2 sisters, Betsy Greene, and Connie Leininger (Phil). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Daniel Lumpkin, and a son, Terry Lee Saner.

A memorial service to remember her life will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Machpelah Cemetery in Lititz, Pennsylvania. She will be laid to rest with her son, Terry Lee Saner. Her brother's and sister's along with family members will attend, a dinner will follow the service.
