Darryl Kirk Usher

A funeral service for Darryl Kirk Usher, 51 of Lancaster will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2013, in St. Luke United Methodist Church, Lancaster. The Revs. Wayne Dickson and Dr. Eddie Usher will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites. Mr. Usher died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Doris Hallman Hudson and the late Bunyan Edward Usher. He was a dispatcher for J & S Concrete, Lancaster. Mr. Usher was a member of Barron Masonic Lodge # 261, Heath Springs, Lancaster Moose Lodge, Jackson Shrine Club, York Scottish Rites and Great Falls Hillbilly Clan. He also was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Donna Burton Usher of the home; a son, Joshua Kirk Usher and his wife Jessica; a daughter, Brittany Nichole Usher; three granddaughters, Ansley , Kailyn and Kinley Usher all of Lancaster. He is also survived by four brothers, Rev. Dr. Eddie Usher (Peggy) of Rock Hill, Randy Usher (Freda), Johnny Usher (Brenda), Terry Usher (Lynn) all of Lancaster and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Saturday, August 31, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw and other times at the home, 2614 Cane Mill Road, Lancaster.
