Darrell Ray Holden

Darrell Ray Holden, 48, of Kershaw, passed away, Thursday evening, July 9, 2020, at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of Mary Catoe Holden and the late Donald Ray “Don” Holden. Mr. Holden was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, a truck driver and of Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating and collecting antiques. Most important, he loved spending time with his family making them laugh.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife and partner of 20 years, Tanya Parker Holden; 2 brothers, Donald Ray Holden, Jr. and his wife, Donna, Russell Holland; a sister, Cheryl Hayes and her husband Rusty and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Franklin Parker Sullivan.

A graveside service will be held, Sunday, July 12, 2020, at 2:00 o’clock p.m. in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Craigan Blakenship will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery with Masonic rites by Flat Rock Lodge # 178, where he was a member.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of his mother, 320 S. Cleveland St., Kershaw.
