Dalton Troy Jordan, age 25 of Elgin, South Carolina, loving son, brother, husband and father passed away unexpectedly in a hunting accident on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Dalton was born on April 22, 1999, in Columbia, South Carolina to Adam Troy and Melanie Truesdale Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Cassie Witt Jordan: 2 children, Wittley Kate Jordan and Granger Troy Jordan and 2 brothers, Adam Hunter Jordan (Steven Sierra) and Colin Alexander Jordan. In addition to his parents, his wife and children, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Sam and Carolyn Truesdale, paternal grandparents, Linda Taylor and Harold Lee Jordan, his uncle, Daryl Truesdale and his wife, Alison and their family; Greer (Jon) Sims and their son, Knox Sims, cousins, Gracyn Beckham, Laykin Truesdale, Logan Truesdale; his uncle Todd Jordan and his wife, Mandy and their children, Chad Jordan (Kaiden, Ella Kate, and Macon), Kensley Williams (husband Casey and daughter Avery), and Landon Young; his aunt, Donna Parker and her daughter, Jordan Parker; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tray and Lori Witt; his brother-in-law, Trace Witt and his wife, Victoria and their children, Brooks and Baker Witt; his wife’s grandparents, Jane Babb and Tommie Witt and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Dalton was the general manager of Exceptional Cabinets and co/owner of A.T. Jordan Roofing. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and held a BS in Business Administration and was on the Presidents list while at University. He loved God and his family before all else and was an advocate and help to anyone in need. He was an avid woodworker and loved his craft. He loved his country and the land on which he was raised. He attended Village Church.
A funeral service in remembrance of his life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday morning, November 7, 2024, at Village Church, 574 Rimer Pond Road, Blythewood, South Carolina 29016. Raz Bradley will officiate the service. A private family burial will be held.
In lieu of floral tributes donations may be made to the Venmo account, Dalton-Jordan-5 or may be mailed to Cassie Jordan, 1989A Dekalb School Road, Camden, South Carolina, 29020.
The family is asking everyone attending the funeral to dress casually and country, jeans, boots, and hats; nothing formal. Dalton would have wanted it this way.
