Connie Etters Adair

Funeral services for Connie Etters Adair, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011, in Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Don Knight will officiate.

Mrs. Adair died Thursday, January 20, at A. Sam Karesh Longterm Care, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Samuel B. and Grace Elvina Baker Hunter. Mrs. Adair was retired from Dupont Co. and a member of Refuge Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and collecting frogs. She was twice married, first to the late Alfred C. Etters and second to the late Colen C. Adair.

Surviving are 4 sons; Randy C. Etters (Donna), Donnie H. Etters, Alvin K. Etters (Maureen) , Nathan Etters (Janet) all of Kershaw, 2 daughters; Sylvia E. Mosley (Cleon) , Westville, Angela D. Etters, Kershaw, a sister; Edith Fladmark of Melbourne, FL, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a brother; Leo L. Hunter.

The family will receive friends, Friday, January 21, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
