Funeral Services for Columbus Brown Stover 79, of Kershaw will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home starting at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Disabled Veterans or the Alzheimer’s Association. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late Hoyt and Bessie Williams Stover. He was a retired businessman, Army Veteran and Member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Rena Stover, 2 sons, Rondall Stover (Eva) of Heath Springs, SC: Michael Stover(Lisa) of Newport NC: daughter, Cathy Lowes(Denny) of Rock Hill; 5 grandchildren , Jason Stover, Ethan Stover, Noah Stover, Ian Lowes and Rachel Lowes.
