Clyde Jackson “Jackie” Talbert, 73, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday, November 20, 2020, at his home. Born in Kershaw, S.C. he was a son of Grace Phillips McInvaille and the late Jackson Lee Talbert. Mr. Talbert was an engineer with DuPont Co. for 37 years and had worked at Carolina Motorsports Park. He was a United States Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam and was a member of Frontline Biker Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 53 years, Judy Poston Talbert; 2 daughters, Ashley Victoria (Channing) Bennett and Annette Talbert Moree; a son, Thomas Carter; six grandchildren; a sister, Gracie Talbert and a brother, Danny (Marsha) Talbert.
The family will receive friends, Monday evening, November 23, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted, Tuesday morning, November 24, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kershaw City Cemetery with Military Honors. Preacher Cotton Pate, Chad Pate and Mike Holden will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Talbert may be made to Frontline Biker Church- Building Fund, 8617 Kershaw-Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
