A memorial service for Clyde Everette Catoe, 53, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 8 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate.

Mr. Catoe died Saturday, July 4 at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Ida Blanche Pressley Catoe Wright and the late Liston Louis Catoe. He was a carpenter and of Baptist faith.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Mellissa Peay and her husband David and Amethyst Amy Heather Catoe all of Kershaw, 3 grandchildren; Timothy Wright, Darian Stevenson and Daquan Stevenson, 4 sisters; Minnie Sue Nettles and her Vance of Neeses, Vera C. Young and her husband Frank of Kershaw, Elaine Cassidy of Pageland, Margaret Dismukes and her husband Lucky of Alabama, a brother; Douglas Catoe and his wife Marlene of Kershaw, a half brother; Leslie Catoe of Odessa, TX, a half sister; Betty Jo Lovette of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a sister; Peggy Catoe and 2 half brothers; Louis and Willie B. Catoe.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service Wednesday, July 8 from 10 11 A.M. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 391 County Line Road, Kershaw.
