Clyde Ellen Funderburk

A memorial service for Clyde Ellen Funderburk, 61 of Lancaster will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in First United Methodist Church, Lancaster. Rev. Charles Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the home, 2466 Downey Drive, Lancaster. Miss Funderburk was born August 27, 1953, to the late Clyde and Barbara Norton Funderburk. She died Sunday, June 7, at her home. Miss Funderburk was a former employee of the Lancaster County School District and a member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster. She held two masters degrees from Winthrop College, one in Library Science and one in Special Education. She also enjoyed doing arts, crafts and was a avid reader. Surviving are her brother, Fred Funderburk and his wife Melanie of York, SC; a nephew, Joshua B. Funderburk and a niece, Abigail H. Funderburk.
