Cletis Jackson Catoe

Funeral services for Cletis Jackson Catoe, 76, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Center Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Steve Miller and Coit Auten will officiate.

Mr. Catoe died Thursday, November 19, 2009 in Kershaw Health, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Beulah Belle Hilton Catoe. He was retired from Dupont Co., a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and a member of the American Legion. He was also U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Catoe was a very active supporter of the A.J. Band Booster Club and the Girl Scouts. He was married to the late Ottie Lee Horton Catoe

Surviving are a daughter; Denise C. Young, a brother; Curtis Catoe, a sister; Jackie Hilton all of Kershaw. Mr. Catoe loved his special dogs, Susie Lee and Scooter and his cat Blackie. He was preceded in death by a sister; Fannie Phillips and a brother; Hoyt Catoe.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:30 at Baker Funeral Home.
