Clarence Ormand Faile

Clarence Ormand Faile, 82, of Liberty Hill, S.C., passed away, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at KershawHealth, Camden, S.C. Born in Monroe, N.C., he was a son of the late John J. Faile and Perilla Baucon Faile. He retired from the United Sates Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1978. He served during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Faile also worked in Civil Service for 16 years. He was a member of Flat Rock Masonic Lodge # 178, where he had served as past master. He was also a member of York Rite and a shriner.

Surviving are his wife, Maria Carmen Faile of the home; a son, John Robert (Lori Knight) Faile of Fairplay, CO; 2 daughters, Dianna Maria (Robert) Broughton of Lancaster, S.C. and Sharon Denise (Belk) McCowan of Lancaster, S.C.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a sister, Joyce Sellers of Charlotte, N.C. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mildred Patterson, Ruth Aycoth and Ola Bowers and a brother, James Smith.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C. at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C. from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Masonic rites will be rendered at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021, following the visitation at the funeral home.
