Christopher M. Redick

Christopher Martin “Chris” Redick, age 61, of Lugoff, S.C., passed away, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C., he was a son of Pauline Williams Redick and the late Clifton Collins Redick. Chris was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1981, and a former employee of Walmart Warehouse. He attended Pine Grove Baptist Church, Lugoff, S.C. He enjoyed singing at the church, playing softball, and working.

He is survived in addition to his mother of Kershaw, S.C. by his son, Andrew Redick of Camden, S.C.; 2 sisters, Cecelia (Tony) Hernandez) of Texas and Renee (Clarence) Stover of Heath Springs, S.C.; 3 nephews; 3 nieces and 5 aunts, Betty Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Ruth Williams of Kershaw, S.C., Margie Reese of Kershaw, S.C., Pauline Williams of Kershaw, S.C. and Sandra Catoe of Bethune, S.C. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rusty Redick.

The family will hold a memorial service in the sanctuary of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Lugoff, S.C. Friday afternoon, December 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Eric Boone will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
