Christopher Lynn Rhyne

Christopher Lynn “Chris” Rhyne, age 34, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at his home. Born in Pineville, N.C., he was a son of Thomas Raeford Rhyne and Wanda Kay Kennington Rhyne. Mr. Rhyne was a pipe fitter. He loved to hunt, spend time outdoors and Clemson football. Most importantly, he cherished the time he spent with his children, his friends and his family.

He is survived by his parents, his son, Ethan Rhyne; his daughter, Christin Rhyne; his brother, Max Rhyne and his wife, Jessica and their daughter, Kaylee and his maternal grandmother, Margie Kennington. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Kennington and his paternal grandparents, Thomas “Ted” Rhyne and Joan Rhyne.

The family will hold a memorial service, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., in First Baptist Church, Lancaster, S.C.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
