Charles Dean Threatt, Sr.

Charles Dean Threatt, Sr. age 73, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away peacefully from stage 4 lung cancer on Monday, July 8, 2024, at his home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of Mary Joyce Seegars Threatt and Marion Threatt. He was a lifelong brick mason, and well known in the community for his work. Mr. Threatt cherished his family and friends and was a loving father to his boys.

 He is survived by 3 sons, Charles D. “Tink” Threatt, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, Dennis Threatt, Aaron Threatt and his wife, Lauren; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Ann Threatt; his sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Threatt; many nieces and nephews; loving family, Pamela Carnes, Clayton Bo Carnes and Kenneth Wayne Underwood and special friends, Melissa, Jaxon, Madelynn and Heather Roach.

The family will greet friends, Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Frontline Biker Church, Kershaw, S.C. A service to remember and honor his life will be held at 12:00 noon in the church. Preacher Cotton Pate will officiate with refreshments afterwards.
