Charles Berry 'Chuck' Mobley

A memorial service for Charles Berry “Chuck” Mobley, 50, will be held Wednesday July 23, at 1:00 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home with inurnment to follow in Salem Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C. Rev. Phillip Woods will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Juy 22, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Chuck died Sunday, July 20, 2014. Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of Shirley Elizabeth Price Blackmon and the late William Sherrell Mobley. Chuck was a self employed carpet installer and a member of One Accord Baptist Church of Martinsville, Va. Surviving are his mother, Shirley P. Blackmon of Kershaw; step-father, Larry Blackmon of Rock Hill; brother, William Dwayne Mobley of Kershaw; sisters, Donna Lynn Rollings of Kershaw and Barbara Mobley Knight (Chris) of Martinsville, Va.; Special friend, Wendy Thomas and her son, Josh Thomas of Catawba; step-sister, Janet Costner of Rock Hill; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Mobley and brother, Darrell Mobley.
