Chad Barton Horton

Chad Barton Horton, age 40, of Keshaw, S.C. passed away, Monday, January 13, 2025, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C., after a 4-year battle with leukemia. He was born in Lancaster, S.C. on August 2, 1984. He was a son of Wilbur Lee Horton, Jr. and Sherry Renee Ray Horton. Chad was the Starting Line runner at Pageland Drag Strip. He enjoyed fishing and racing. 

In addition to his parents of Kershaw, S.C., he is survived by his sister, Bridget Leann Horton of Kershaw, S.C.; his niece, Ally Helms; 2 nephews, Michael (Kimberly) Horton and Ashton Helms and his great nephew, Nathan Horton.

No formal services will be held at this time.
