Cecil Wayne Williams

Cecil Wayne Williams, age 77 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Monday evening, July 8, 2024, at Lancaster Health and Rehab, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Kershaw County, S.C., he was a son of the late Reese Williams and Cletus Connell Williams. Mr. Williams retired form Springs Industries and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, talking to others and working in his garden.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Faulkenberry and her fiancé, Scottie Faile; 4 grandchildren, Corley Faulkenberry, Brady Faulkenberry, Ryleigh Faulkenberry, and Brandon Williams; a great grandchild, Briah Nicole Williams and his brother, Howard Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Estridge Williams; his son, Roger "Tank" Williams and siblings, Bruce Williams, Cullen Williams, Daryl Williams, Emerson Williams, Jerry Williams, Jolynn Farmer, Mitchell Williams, Robert Williams and Shelby Hicks.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday morning, July 11, 2024, in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery, 223 Youngs Bend Road, Kershaw, S.C. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Rev. Trent McLaughlin will officiate.
