Funeral services for Cecelia Teal Gardner Dorman, 74, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011, in Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Jamie Rogers, Hugh McKinney and Don Knight will officiate.

Mrs. Dorman, widow of Harold Broadus Dorman died Thursday, January 27, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Darlington, S.C., she was the daughter of the late George William and Lillian Shaw Gardner. She retired from International Paper formerly Kendall Co. in Bethune, S.C. She was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed tailgating. She also was a member of the Dazzling Dames Red Hatters and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Dorman was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mitch Lucas Sunday School Class.

Surviving are 2 sons; Mark Dorman and his wife Taaka, Mitch Dorman and his wife Leah all of Kershaw, the love of her life, her grandson, Nicholas Dorman of Kershaw, 2 brothers; Glenn Gardner and his wife Jayne of Lancaster and Jack Gardner of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a brother; Nolan Gardner.

The family will receive friends, Friday, January 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 401 Welsh Street, Kershaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 7737 Kershaw Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.

The family would like to thank Barbara Cayruth, a very dear and special caregiver for the love and care shown to Teal and the family during these past months.
