Carrie S. Faulkenberry

Funeral services for Carrie Belle Sharpe Faulkenberry, 83, will be held at 3:00 pm., Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Pineview Baptist Church. The Revs. Greg Gunter and Bobby Price will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Faulkenberry, widow of Hazel Eugene Faulkenberry died Saturday, May 21, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Winnsboro, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Carrie B. Walker Sharpe. She was retired from Kendall Co., Bethune and a member of Pineview Baptist Church where she served in many capacities.

Surviving are her daughter; Annette Snipes (Larry) of Kershaw, 5 sons; Hazel Gene Faulkenberry, Jr. (Linda) of Lancaster, Steve Faulkenberry (Janet), Lancaster, Randy Faulkenberry (Judy) of Camden, Donald Donny Faulkenberry (Lori) of Kershaw and Kim Faulkenberry (Donna) of Kershaw, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, 9215 Kershaw-Camden Highway, Kershaw and following the service at the church Family Life Center.
