Bruce C. Williams

A funeral service for Bruce C. Williams, 76 of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, at Bethany Baptist Church, Westville. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military honors and Masonic rites.

Mr. Williams died Wednesday, June 1, at his home. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Reese and Cletus Connell Williams. Mr. Williams was retired from Dupont Co. and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was a avid Gamecock fan, loved spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and enjoyed going to the beach. Mr. Williams also was a member of Flat Rock Lodge # 178 and a US Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Vivian Rushing Williams of the home; 2 daughters, Angie W. Vincent and her husband Derrick and Sherrie W. Estridge all of Kershaw; 5 grandchildren, Chris Estridge, Brittany (Dustin) Roberts, Kirsten (Casey) Bowers, Corbin Bailey and Courtney Moree; 3 great grandchildren, Caden Bowers, Landry Roberts and Reese Lane Roberts; 2 brothers, Howard Williams and Wayne Williams both of Kershaw. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Emerson, Cullen, Jerry, Derhl, Robert and Mitchell Williams and 2 sisters, Shelby Jean Hicks and JoLynn Farmer.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 183 Ned Williams Rd., Kershaw.
