A funeral service for Brian Dean Farmer, 41 of Arlington, VA and formerly of Camden, SC will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, in the sanctuary of Damascus United Methodist Church, Westville. The Revs. Pam Ledbetter and Paul Ballard will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born November 1, 1974, in Camden, SC, Brian passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, at his childhood home in Camden.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Hilary; his parents, Frank and Patricia Clyburn Farmer; his sister, Amy Farmer Pickett and her husband Jeremy; his nephew and niece, Brayden and Emma Pickett.
He was known as a truly kind soul who always put other people’s needs before his own. Brian loved animals, especially his dog, Buddy Farmer. He enjoyed attending concerts, travelling, reading and cheering on his alma mater, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who were lucky enough to know him.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday evening September 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw and other times at the home, 2619 Flat Rock Road, Camden.
Memorial contributions in Brian’s memory may be made to the church he loved, Damascus United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 506, Westville, SC 29175.
