Brenda Kay Outlaw Hinson, 64, of Cassatt, S.C., passed away, Saturday evening, February 26, 2022, at Midlands Health and Rehabilitation Center, Columbia, S.C. Born in Bennettsville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Mertis J. Outlaw and Lois Hopkins Outlaw. Brenda was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Camden, S.C. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to watch television.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert L. Hinson of the home; her daughter, Amanda H. Roberts and her husband, Stuart of Cassatt, S.C.; her son, Robert J. Hinson of Cassatt, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Wesley Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Lily Roberts and Brady Roberts; her twin sister, Linda Outlaw of Camden, S.C. and 2 brothers, Kim Outlaw and Edward “Eddie” Outlaw and his wife, Becky of Cassatt, S.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Hunter and Shelby Bowen.
A private family graveside service will be held Friday morning, March 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C.. Rev. Donnie Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet relatives following the service in the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
