A funeral service for Brenda Sue Eubanks Mangum, 64 of Bethune will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in the sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, and immediately following the burial in the church Family Life Center. Mrs. Mangum died suddenly, Saturday, March 21, 2015, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Lancaster, SC, she was a daughter of Frankie Sara Byrd Eubanks and the late J. Harold Eubanks. She retired from Mt. Pisgah Elementary School where she was a food service technician. She was a faithful nursery Sunday School teacher and enjoyed camping. Most of all, she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her mother of Bethune are her husband of 48 years, Dwayne Mangum; three sons, Philip Mangum of Huntersville, NC, Chris Mangum and his wife Heather of Kershaw, and Ashley Mangum and his wife April of Bethune; three grandchildren, Ethan, Newman and Jase Mangum; a sister, Diane E. Johnson and her husband Max of Camden, and two brothers, Dennis Eubanks and his wife Nola of Lancaster and Richie Eubanks and his wife Melissa of Hartsville. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Mangum may be made to the Playground Fund at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 2140 McBee Highway, Jefferson, SC 29718. Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw is serving the Mangum family.
