Bobby Earl Rone

Bobby Earl Rone, age 84, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday morning, December 22, 2023, at his home. Born in Sacramento, KY, he was a son of the late Frank and Vera Rone. Bobby was a loving husband to Barbara Ann Lucas Rone for 66 years and doting father and grandpa.

Mr. Rone served his country in the United State Air Force. He retired from the construction industry after 52 years. He enjoyed being with his family and his friends. Bobby could be found sitting on his porch enjoying the day, cutting his grass, or working on his cars. He loved watching his grandchildren swim in the backyard pool.

He is survived by his wife of the home; 3 sons, Danny Rone of Kershaw, S.C., Robbie (Kristi) Rone and Timmy Rone of Pooler Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and his sister, Mary Rone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sons, Kenny Rone, Jeffrey “Bush” Rone and Jimmy Rone: 4 sisters, Mildred Adeen Miller, Jana Dietz, Fran Simmerlin and Ada Carol Rone and 4 brothers, Bill Rone, George Rone, Donald Rone and Harry Rone.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor Street, Kershaw, S.C. Mr. Floyd Helms will officiate.

The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service in the Conference Center.

Mr. Rone always had a saying “What a Day.”

Memorial remembrances may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
