Graveside services for Bobbie F. Cox, 70, of Liberty Hill, S.C. and formerly of Stanley, N.C. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly, N.C. Rev. Mike Davis will officiate. Mrs. Cox, widow of Charles Cox died Saturday, May 26, at her home. Born in Mt. Holly, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Rome and Ruby Matthews Bollinger. She retired as a bookkeeper for A & P Grocery Stores after 30 years of service. Surviving are her daughter, Patty Freeman of Liberty Hill; a son, Michael Johnston of Mooresville, N.C.; 2 step-daughters, Bre Stutts of Raleigh, N.C., Bonnie May of London, England; 3 step-sons, Kenny Cox of Stanley, N.C.; Jerry Johnston of Maiden, N.C. and Billy Johnston of Matthews, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Angel of Shelby, N.C. The family will receive friends, Monday, May 28, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.
