Billy Lynn Brewer

A memorial service for Billy Lynn Brewer, 54 of Westville will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, at House of Prayer with Open Arms, Old Georgetown Rd., Kershaw. Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Brewer died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at his home. Born in Monroe, NC, he was a son of Mary Lucille Edwards Brewer and the late James William Brewer. He had been a truck driver. Mr. Brewer attended House of Prayer with Open Arms. He also enjoyed computers, woodworking, fishing and visiting with friends and family.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Lancaster are his wife of 37 years, Sherry L. Morris Brewer; 3 daughters, Jessica Blackmon (Sean), Amanda Brewer, Jessika Rain Brewer all of Westville; 2 sons, Billy Dalton Brewer of Taxahaw and William Drake Brewer of Westville; 2 granddaughters, Ziva Rae Johnson and Zoey Grace Johnson; a brother, Joseph Brewer of Rock Hill; 2 sisters, Vickie Deese (Steve), Donna Catoe all of Lancaster; his mother-in-law, Vonnie P. Cole of Westville and special friends, Bo Roberts, Gary Ray, Quintin Stevens and Tommy Morris. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Gunter and a brother, Dennis William Brewer.
