Betty Sue Price

Betty Sue Stevens Price, 76, of Kershaw, passed away, Sunday, October 28, 2018, at White Oak Manor, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late William Hayward Stevens and Lola Morgan Stevens. She retired from Tic-Tac, Heath Springs as a seamstress. Mrs. Price attended Center Grove Baptist Church and was of Baptist faith. She was married to the late Melvin C. Price who predeceased her.

Surviving are 2 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister, Emily S. Sowell and her husband David of Kershaw and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Steven Price and siblings, Edward Lee Stevens, William Stevens, Fred Stevens, Frances Stevens Hinson and 2 infant sisters.

The family will receive friends and visitors, Tuesday, October 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the home of her sister, Emily Sowell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and burial will be in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Mrs. Price.
