Betty Hayes Hicks

Funeral services for Betty Hayes Hicks, 76, of Kershaw, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 9, 2011, in DeKalb Baptist Church, Camden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hicks, widow of John Henry Hicks died Friday, October 7. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Henry and Mima Branham Hayes. Mrs. Hicks was a former employee of Skyline Mfg. and a member of DeKalb Baptist Church. Surviving are a son; John Hicks and his wife Heidi of Rock Hill, 2 daughters; Robin Horton and her husband Neal of Bethune, Roxanne Patrick and her husband Rickey of Chester, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Denise Trimnal. The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the church.
