Betty H. Bell

A funeral service for Betty Hinson Bell, 82, of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Tony Pope will officiate. Mrs. Bell, widow of James Emerson Bell died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at her home. Born in the White Bluff community of Kershaw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Julia Robinson Hinson. She retired from Dupont Co. and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church family and enjoyed watching television. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Bell Hawksworth and Patti Bell Coates both of Camden, SC; four grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Coates, John Gregory Coates, David Hawksworth and Dale Hawksworth; five great grandchildren, Justin and his wife Kayla, Alicia, Erin, Luke and Jake. Also surviving are her granddaughter-in-law, Bobbie Faulkenberry. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Faulkenberry. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at her home, 214 West Welsh St., Kershaw.
