Betty B. Wallace

Betty Broome Wallace, age, 83, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Saturday morning, January 27, 2024, at her daughter’s home. Born in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie E. Broome and Virginia H. Broome. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway Baptist Church where she had served in various capacities. She loved the outdoors and working in her garden and her flowers. Betty was always near to lend a helping hand to others.

She is survived by 3 children, Renee (Gabriel) Vargus, Donald Ellis and Dennis Dease; 4 grandchildren, Humberto Rivera, Armando Rivera, Alexis Rivera, and Ashley Ellis; a great granddaughter, Ravina Rivera and her sister, Peggy Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry O. Wallace and brother, Jerry H. Broome.

A private graveside service for her family and her church family was held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, January 30, 2024, in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Warren officiated. The burial followed in the cemetery.
