Betsy Ann Thomas

Betsy Ann Thomas, age 73, of Pageland, S.C., passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Rehab Center of Cheraw, Cheraw, S.C. Born in Pageland, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eldridge Harding Thomas and Mae Lee McManus Thomas. Betsy was a former employee of Conbraco Industries and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 nieces, Charla L. Jensen and her husband, Mike of Sherman, TX; Tracy L. Faile and her husband, Mark of Ridgeway, S.C.; a nephew, Jimmy McManus of Lancaster, S.C.; a great nephew, Lucas Jensen and his wife, Mackenzie; great nieces, Reagan Jensen, Bailee Faile, Erica Faile, and Amber Phillips and her husband, Kipp; 2 great-great nephews; her brother-in-law, Jerry M. Lucas of Kershaw, S.C. and her sister-in-law, Margie McManus of Lancaster, S.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lou Thomas Lucas and a brother, James “Amon” McManus.

A memorial service to remember her life will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in Union Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Robin Hewitt and Mr. Derrick McManus will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church sanctuary.

Burial will be private in Five Forks United Methodist Church Cemetery at a later date.
