Bessie Williams Hinson

Funeral service for Bessie Williams Hinson, 72, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 27, in Flat Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Westville, she was the daughter of the late Coley and Mildred Sowell Williams. Mrs. Hinson died Sunday, May 24. She was retired from Springs Industries and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. She was a devoted grandmother and volunteered at Kershaw Elementary School.

Surviving are her husband; Wayne D. Hinson of the home, a son; Wayne Dale Hinson and his wife Lori , three grandchildren; Amy Elizabeth Hinson, Shelley Dale Hinson and Kyle Wayne Hinson all of Kershaw, two sisters; Colleen Helms and her husband Floyd of St. Paul, NC, Dorothy Hall and her husband Don of Camden, two brothers; Billy Williams and his wife Shelby of Clover and Arthur Williams and his wife Diane of Westville.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 26, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.
