The family will hold a memorial service for Bertha Baker Truesdale, 73, of Cassatt, Friday, June 24, at 6:00 p.m. in House of Prayer of Open Arms Church, Old Georgetown Rd., Kershaw.

Mrs. Truesdale, widow of Ralph C. Truesdale, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Elic and Sallie Hopkins Baker. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.

Surviving are her daughter; Denitta Truesdale of Cassatt and her son; Ralph D. Truesdale of Kershaw, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 sisters; Margie Morris of Kershaw, Betty Horton of Lugoff, Diane Catoe of Bethune and Mae Stokes of Cassatt. She was predeceased by a sister; Ruby Baskin.

The family is at the home of her son, 356 Vincent Ln., Kershaw.

Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
