Funeral services for Barry Dean Usher, 39, of Kershaw, S.C. will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, November 13, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Michael Owens will officiate.
Mr. Usher died suddenly Thursday, November 10, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of Joyce Oliver Usher and the late Johnny Ray Usher. He was employed with Tucker Lumber Co., Pageland, S.C. Barry was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and a Gamecock fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Kershaw are 2 sisters, Donna Usher Pruitt and her husband Chris of Chesterfield, S.C., Glenda Usher Denkins and her husband Kevin of Kershaw; his brother, J.R. Usher of Kershaw; 6 nephews, Michael, Jacob, Tyler, McKenzie, Alex and William; 2 great nieces, Melody and Harmoni and great nephew, Little Mike; his maternal grandparents, Knowlton and Viola Oliver of Chesterfield, S.C., numerous aunts, uncles and his special friend, Karen Moreland. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Will and Mae Usher.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, November 13, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
