Barney Scott Catoe

A graveside service for Barney Scott Catoe, 62 of Kershaw, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Burial will follow the service.

Mr. Catoe, loving husband of 20 years to Pamela Holland Catoe, passed away, Saturday, June 29, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late O.C. Catoe and Annie Loutee Phillips Catoe. He was a carpenter and a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Catoe enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 children, Laura Truesdale and her husband C.F. Truesdale of Lake Wateree and Justin West and his wife Dr. Brittany West of Kershaw; 2 grandchildren, Payton Cauthen and Amelia West; his sister, Dr. Rebecca Vincent of Kershaw; nieces and nephews, Randy, Nick, Neal, Crystal, Erin and Trishia.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
