Arlevia Payne Wallace

Funeral services for Arlevia Payne Wallace, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010 in Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wallace died Saturday, November 6, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Ben F. and Minnie Catoe Payne. She was formerly employed with Skyline Ltd. and Caro-Knit. She was a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church.

Surviving are 5 children; Bruce Wallace (Virginia), Ken Wallace (Barbara), Peggy Brown (Frankie), Barry Wallace and Bobby Wallace and his special friend; Tiffany all of Kershaw, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Jesse Payne (Mildred) of Kershaw, Connie Payne (Joyce) of Jefferson, 2 sister-in-laws; Aileen Self of West Columbia and Iva Lee Payne of Camden. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Ollie Mae Bartell, Alma Scott, Wilma Lucas and 3 brothers; William Payne, Junior Payne and Mendel Payne.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, November 7, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and at the home of her son; 4823 Payne Road, Keshaw.
