Archie B. Faile

Graveside services for Archie B. Faile, 61, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2010, in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate.

Mr. Faile died Thursday, September 16, in Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of Ellie Mae Davis Faile and the late Lewis Boag Faile. He was a carpenter and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mr. Faile also loved the outdoors, drag racing and was basketball star for Mt. Pisgah High School. Mr. Faile was a US Army veteran.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Bethune are 2 sons; Scotty Brewer Faile (Stephanie) and Dusty Lewis Faile, both of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren; Courtney Samantha James, Matthew Scott Faile, Hayden Elana Faile, a sister; Vickie F. Oliver (J.T., Jr.) of Jefferson, 3 brothers; J.L. Faile (Cheryl) of Conway and Danny Faile (Barbara) of Bethune.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Family Life Center.
