Funeral services for Annie Ruth Cricket Matthews Moseley, 67, of Heath Springs, will be held Friday, May 6, at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Freewill Baptist Church, Lancaster, with burial to follow in Pleasant Plain Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw. The Revs. Douglas Pate and Donnie Barrett will officiate. Friends may call at the home, 172 Bite Lane, Heath Springs. Mrs. Moseley's body will be taken home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday . Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mrs. Moseley, widow of Otis Edward Moseley, died at her home Tuesday, May 3. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Warren G. and Aline Ivey Matthews. She enjoyed going to yard sales and playing bingo.
Surviving are her children; James Edward Moseley of Tampa, FL, Otis Lee Moseley of Kershaw, David Junior Moseley of Lancaster, Ralph Moseley of Heath Springs, Margaret Ann Stevens of Bethune, Kenneth Wayne Moseley of Chuckey, TN., Rev. Charles Eugene Moseley of Heath Springs, Clifford Moseley of Kershaw, Mary Ann Moak Miles of Jefferson, Adrian Ray Moseley of Jefferson and James Edward Jamie Moseley of Heath Springs; 28 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren; brothers, Edward Matthews of Ridgeland, Ray Matthews of Beaufort, Glenn Matthews of Kershaw, and Robert Matthews of Indian Land; sisters, Brenda Williams Borquez, Betty Ray, and Shirley Ray all of Kershaw. She was predeceased by a grandchild.
