Annie Grace Young

Mrs. Annie Grace Morgan Young, 91, of Westville, S.C., passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2022, in MUSC KershawHealth, Camden, S.C. She was born in Kershaw, S.C., September 26, 1930, to the late Robert Lewis Morgan and Hattie Phillips Morgan. Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Westville, S.C. She enjoyed playing rummy every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Richard Young of Westville, S.C. and Donald Young of Kershaw, S.C.; her siblings, Vivian Austin of Columbia, S.C., Charles (Sarepta) Morgan, Carolyn (Waldo) Phillips and Dennis (Linda) McManus all of Kershaw, S.C.; her special canine companion, Bella and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Ward Young in 1993; her granddaughter, Nancy Elizabeth Young and a sister, Patsy Ashley.

A graveside will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville, S.C. Rev. Robert Ridley will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
