Annette Adkins

Annette Adkins, age 69, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away suddenly, Monday, May 20, 2024. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James C. Hoover and Myrtle Thornhill Hoover. Annette was a former practice manager for the Dermatologic Laser Center. She loved the outdoors and animals. She enjoyed working in her flowers and riding horses.

Annette was married to the late Eddie Arnold Adkins who predeceased in in 1987. They were married on June 23, 1973.

She is survived by her loving companion of 28 years, Daniel “Danny” Parsons and special friends, Linda Jones, and Frances Wiggins.

A service to honor her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024, in First Baptist Church, Lancaster, S.C. Rev. Randy Hatcher will officiate.

The greeting of friends will be held following the service at the church.

Memorial remembrances may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067, to assist the family.
