Angela Denise Etters

Angela Denise Etters, age 61, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Sunday, March 31, 2024, at her home. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Alfred “Shorty” Etters and Connie Hunter Etters Adair. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.

Angela is survived by her daughter, Mellissa Peay; 3 grandchildren, Timothy (Kayce), Darian (Samantha) and Daquan (Marie); 11 great grandchildren and her siblings, Randy (Donna) Etters, Sylvia (Cleon) Moseley, Alvin (Maureen) Etters, Nathan (Janet) Etters and her sister-in-law, Reba Etters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Etters and her husband, Everette Catoe.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the register from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Baker Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family will greet friends, following the graveside service in the church Fellowship Hall.
