Alvin Moseley, age 71, of Chesnee, S.C., passed away, Wednesday, January 29, 2020, in Mary Black Hospital, Spartanburg, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C. he was a son of the late Luther Jackson Moseley and Lillie Mae Jones Moseley. He was formerly employed in the construction industry. Mr. Moseley attended Chesnee First Baptist Church and was a NASCAR fan. He also loved sports cars.
Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Byrd Moseley of Chesnee; a son, Richard Moseley of Rock Hill; a daughter, Melissa Easley of Rock Hill; a step-daughter, Ashley Roberts of Lancaster; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Adams and her husband Carson of Fort Lawn; 2 brothers, James Moseley and his wife Elaine of Clover, Odell Moseley and his wife Barbara of Moore and his special canine companion, Dakota.
Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.,in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Mr. Odell Moseley will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 1, 2020, beginning at 12:30 pm to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
