Funeral services for Almetta (Alma) Talbert Vincent, 94, will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 23, in Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Steve Owens and Elton Lane will officiate.

Mrs. Vincent, widow of Gus Hazel Vincent, died Sunday, February 21, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Kirby Lewis and Rose McCoy Talbert. She was a faithful member of White Springs Baptist Church where she enjoyed the Senior Adult Group. She loved to fish and bowl. Mrs. Vincent was retired from Springs Industries.

Surviving are a daughter; Doris V. Faile and her husband Elton of Kershaw, two sons; Claude Vincent and his wife Betty of Lancaster and Fred Vincent and his wife Cecile of Kershaw, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a brother; J.W. Talbert and his wife Ruth of Chester and Rosa Mae Wilson and her husband J.P. of Lando. She was preceded in death by a son; Robert Vincent, two sisters; Katie Roberts and Sadie Talbert and four brothers; Clyde Talbert, Jack Talbert, Bud Talbert and Shelley Talbert.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 until 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 23, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to White Springs Baptist Church-Family Life Center, 1249 Grace Ave., Lancaster, S.C. 29720.
