Alice Faile Catoe

Graveside services for Alice Faile Catoe, 83 of Kershaw, will be held Friday, February 1, 2013, at 3:00 pm at Blackmon Cemetery, Kershaw. Mr. David Faile will officiate. Mrs. Catoe, widow of Arthur Miller Catoe, died Tuesday, January 29, in Lancaster Convalescent Center, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Dora Morgan Faile. Mrs. Catoe also loved to fish. Surviving are 2 sons; Michael Wayne Catoe and Jimmy C. Catoe (Ragina); daughter-in-law, Libby Catoe all of Kershaw, 3 grandchildren; Amanda C. Roberts (Joel), Jasper Catoe and Jeremiah Catoe, 5 great grandchildren; Bethany Leigh Catoe, Riley Roberts, Kailey Catoe, Jacob Darrell James Catoe and Eli Roberts, 2 sisters; Ollie Newell and Mary Cauthen, 2 brothers; Thomas Faile and “Pete” Faile. She was predeceased by 2 sons; John Daniel Catoe and Darrell Eugene Catoe, 2 sisters; Myrtle Sims and Rena Catoe and a brother; Davis Faile. The family will receive friends Friday, February 1, from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at Baker Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
