Addie Mae Vinson Poole

Funeral service for Addie Mae Vinson Poole, 85, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 16, in First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate.

Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Shelly and Eunice Holden Vinson. Mrs. Poole passed away Sunday, June 14, in Morningside Assisted Living, Camden. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and retired from Springs Industries. She was married to the late Cortez Tillison Poole.

Surviving are her much adored grandchild; Virginia (Ginger) Corinne Poole of Flat Rock, NC and Roanoke, VA, a daughter-in-law; Sonya Faulkenberry Poole of Kershaw, two sisters; Mrs. J.E. (Iva Lee) Watson of Orangeburg and Mrs. Tommy (Marcie) Haynes of Heath Springs. Also surviving is her beloved friend, Mr. Johnnie Horton of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by her only son; C. Tillison Poole, Jr.

The family will receive friends, Monday, June 15, from 6 to 8 PM at Baker Funeral Home.
