Labruce "Tim" Roberts

LaBruce Timothy “Tim” Roberts, age 49, of Lancaster, S.C., died Monday, August 28, 2023, because of injuries received from an auto accident. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of Dorothy McManus Boone and the late LaBruce Wayne Roberts. He was employed at ATI Specialty Materials, Richburg, S.C. Tim loved playing with his drone, riding four wheelers, and his dogs, Lady, and Savannah. He also loved the American flag.

Surviving is his wife, Barbara Compton Roberts, his mother, Dorothy M. Boone; his sister, Candy R. Robinson (Mike); three uncles, Jerry Roberts, Mike Roberts, and Dr. Donald J. McManus and three aunts, Matrell Taylor (Tommy), Margaret Henry (Glenn), and Dianne McManus.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, 7864 Old Jefferson Highway, Kershaw, S.C. Scott Whaley will officiate.

Friends may pay their respects, Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. The family will not be present.
